We were approached by IO Interactive to help them design and build their cinematics for their sequel to the 2016 reboot of the famous Hitman franchise.
The tasks was to create the 8 cinematics, that would deliver the main story throughout the game, using a stylistic 2.5 D approach.
Characters would be posed in a static freeze frame situation with the camera delivering the movement and creating depth through parallax between the elements of the scenes.
Additional movement was added to to environment elements like trees and grass and through the use of atmospheric effects like rain and haze as well as fire and smoke.
